Beth Sholom 2008 Board of Directors

Message from Rose Morrison, President

Welcome to Beth Sholom Synagogue, the home of Conservative Judaism in Memphis, Tennessee. Our congregation is known for being warm and welcoming, and we invite you to join us in the many exciting programs and services available at our synagogue.  Through the tireless efforts of Rabbi Aaron Rubinstein, Cantor David Julian, our Executive Director, Barbara Newman, and a wonderful team of dedicated volunteer leaders, our synagogue is a hub of activities that include:

  • Shabbat, weekday, and holiday services and celebrations
  • Adult education opportunities that include Lunch and Learn, Limmud, Book Club, and Reel Torah with Rabbi Aaron, Yiddish Class with Cantor Julian and Hebrew lessons taught by educated volunteers
  • Religious School for children in first through twelfth grades
  • Youth and family programming including Tot Shabbat, Shabbat Drama Club, B'nai Mitzvah Class and United Synagogue Youth (USY)
  • Social Opportunities in both Men's Club and Sisterhood, "Old Enough to Know Better," and Congregational Picnics and Bar-b-ques

Please feel free to join us today - you'll be glad you did!
