2010-2011 Kadima and USY Convention Deadlines

United Synagogue Youth (USY)

Beth Sholom USY is an active member of the Hanegev Region of United Synagogue Youth. Our chapter, HaMelech USY, welcomes all Jewish youth in the Memphis and Mid-South region in Grades 9-12.  Always on the go, our USYers travel to Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina, Alabama and more to meet with USYers all over the south at Regional and International conventions.  Locally, our teens enjoy social and holiday events and learn valuable leadership skills while making lifelong friends.  Our Pre-Pesach Car Wash, Social Action/Tikkun Olam Movie Night and Video Scavenger Hunt are just some of the fun we have during the year.  Check us out and join the excitement!!

KADIMA

Kadima is the middle school affiliate of USY.  Beth Sholom’s Kadima group is for pre-teens in Grades 6-8.  Kadimaniks also enjoy making friends from all over Ein-Gedi, our sub-region, at their annual convention.  In addition, our Kadimaniks look forward to our yearly lock-in, Corn Maze visit, Wii Parties and more.  Get started on your USY adventures early and join Kadima today!!

Club Sholom

Beth Sholom’s youth group for Grades 3-5 is specially designed to celebrate the holidays in a fun, engaging way.  Whether it’s making (and eating!) an edible sukkah, participating in our Chocolate Seder or tie-dying shirts for Israel Independence Day, our youngest members make new friends while experiencing the joys of being Jewish!!
