Sisterhood Hamantaschen Pre-Sale Now through Friday, February 12

Purim is just around the corner! Beth Sholom Sisterhood is busy baking delicious pareve hamantaschen, perfect for mishloach manot or your own holiday table. Choose from poppy seed, chocolate, apple, apricot, strawberry, and—back by request—prune. Make your presale order NOW by clicking here.

Hamantaschen Baking

Sisterhood is baking Hamentaschen for Purim. Please donate needed ingredients and/or join us for one or all the dates to bake, pack the Hamentaschen, and schmooze with new and old friends.  Ages 15 and over can participate in baking and boxing.

Tu B’Shvat Seder Sunday, February 1st, 5:30 PM

Join us for a special Gratitude Feast as we celebrate the New Year for the Trees. Enjoy tasting the fruits of Israel while learning about their meaning and significance.

Scholar-In-Residence Weekend February 20-22

We are excited to welcome Dr. Eli Sperling for a Scholar-in-Residence weekend featuring three sessions:

  • Friday evening: An accessible discussion on current Israeli politics and social movements, why conversations about Israel feel tense, and how American Jews can understand today’s headlines. Coffee and dessert provided.

  • Saturday midday: A Lunch & Learn during Kiddush on Hebrew music and early Zionism in America, based on Dr. Sperling’s book and research.

  • Saturday evening: A 21+ geopolitical deep dive covering Gaza, Iran, U.S. foreign policy, normalization, and the broader Middle East, with cocktails and snacks.

Room In the Inn Thursday, February 26

Join us for our next hosting night! Volunteers are needed to help with setup, meal preparation, serving, overnight hosting, and cleanup the following morning. If this is something you’d be happy to help with, please click here to lend a helping hand.

Purim Extravaganza Monday, March 2, 6:30 PM

Join us for an unpredictable, entertaining, and captivating Megilla Reading. Snacks and fun activities for all ages.

Pesach Painting Sunday, March 22, 10:00 AM

Join your Beth Sholom family for a day of fun!

The cost is $5 per person. Painters may also choose to paint a Seder plate and/or a Kiddush cup for an additional fee. More than one painter may work on the same item, making it perfect for friends or family to paint together. This event is open to all ages.

2nd Soul Shabbat Friday, April 10, 2026 6:00 PM

It is Shabbat Shirah! The perfect time to lift up our voices in song. 

Sing along to the grooves led by Rabbi Sammy and the 2nd Soul Band for a musical Kabbalat Shabbat service. 

Services will be followed by a delicious catered Shabbat dinner in the social hall.
